Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures that align with our clients' business objectives. This role demands a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in networking technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of critical network systems.


Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy advanced network solutions tailored to meet client-specific requirements.
Install, configure, and manage networking hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues.
Analyze network traffic using monitoring tools to identify and address potential bottlenecks or threats.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure efficient issue resolution and clear communication.
Enforce network security through implementation of firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs, and other protective measures.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, and processes.
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to support critical incidents outside regular business hours.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering or a related technical field.
In-depth knowledge of core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, etc.).
Hands-on experience with configuring and managing network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and HP.
Familiarity with network analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
Strong understanding of network security practices, including access controls, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain complex topics clearly.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA are highly desirable.
