How you will make an impact:
Apply your skills and experience to the unique industry of currency, security, and brand authentication. You will utilize the concepts of lean manufacturing to help improve safety, quality, and delivery for our internal and external customers. Global economies will rely on you and the engineering team to use root cause analysis and find creative solutions to keep our operations running smoothly and delivering to the needs of the customers. While at the same time, you will pitch projects and work on initiatives that drive future growth and efficiency in our processes for the years to come.
Train operators to ensure competence in quality control and the use of technical equipment, fostering a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
Follow up on processes, analyze data, and investigate deviations in productivity and quality to optimize outcomes and ensure consistent quality standards.
Work with the maintenance (UH) team to develop lists and routines for maintenance and follow-up activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Participate in production preparation work, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to meet production goals and maintain high standards.
Develop and ensure quality procedures for the department’s technical equipment, ensuring all processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead Improvement Projects: Lead projects and serve as a resource in improvement initiatives, supporting production within the Continuous Improvement System (CBS) framework.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
Bachelor of science in engineering or commensurate experience.
3 years’ experience working in the paper/process industry.
Experience with lean working methods.
Good computer skills.
Good written and spoken English.
