ABOUT US:

JGruppen is focused on performing electrical and mechanical installations and
maintenance work. Our HQ is based in Sweden, EU, but our field of operation is all over the world and across Europe, North America all over Middle East.
We are an independent and committed external contractor. Mostly, thanks to our reputation for proper delivering of cost-effective and high-quality jobs, performed by our competent professionals, we are receiving more and more assignments in various projects for large international automated system builders and integration specialists.
We have opened a new branch in North America and need to strengthen up our teams with several new skilled colleagues. During 2025 we are hiring 10-12 new skilled craftsman who will join in our teams.
YOUR AREA OF ​​RESPONSIBILITY WILL INCLUDE:
● The Automation Technician will install, develop and troubleshoot machine hardware and controls. Implement industrial machine electrical systems, Maintain and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems. Will work with building, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment and electrical installations
YOUR PROFILE:
● Good training in the fields of mechatronics, electronics, mechanical installation
● Ability to work at heights
● Willingness to assemble worldwide and willingness to travel
● Mandatory knowledge of English language, at least B1 (spoken and written)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
● Read and understand electrical and mechanical prints.
● Proficient in the use of multi-meters, use of hand tool etc.
● Be able to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints and CAD.
● Have computer skills including Windows, MS word.
● Ability to use a computer and related software applications to send/receive e-mail messages, enter information into a database or spreadsheet, word processing, and data entry.
● Installation, diagnose and repair electromechanical problems with conveyor, carousel, robotics, servo, and other types of industrial automation.
● Basic soldering skills.
● Must have strong initiative in order to solve problems which fall outside of documented processes. This requires the ability to collect and interpret information into solutions that are in the best interest of the company.
● Have a couple of years of training and experience in an industrial maintenance discipline.
● Have strong technical working knowledge of electrical and conveyor systems.
● Be able to work safely with potentially harmful components.
● Have ability to work independently and in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
● Citizenship in some of the EU countries
● Be able to continuously pass a drug and alcohol screens
● Can pass criminal background check
● Ability to read drawings and instructions from paper/digital format plan
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
● Driving licence B, C, CE
● Certificates like forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, welding certificate, hot works etc.
Any type of adequate certificate is meritorious
● Tax numbers, Finland, Norway, Sweden or any other country is meritorious.
SALARY AND WORK:
● Individual wage setting depending on skills and experience.
● Work hours 40-60 hours a week
