Manages the negotiations of contracts and relationships with vendors. Implements policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized. Works with technical buyers, engineers and managements to identify new product needs, identifies new sources in order to meet business requirements. Focuses on implementing and executing strategies within sourcing. Frequently advises others on complex matters. Responsible for interacting with cross functional team including but not limited to R&D, Product Managers, Legal Supply Chain, Commodity Managers, Supplier Quality, Trade Compliance, EHS, Manages New Product Launch from sourcing perspective.
