The opportunity
The Surge Arresters Factory is a business unit within Hitachi Energy located in Ludvika, Sweden.
We are looking for a Factory Manager. In this role you will manage and overview all aspects related to operations of the manufacturing unit including project management, engineering, production, supply chain, quality and operational excellence. Furthermore, you will drive CAPEX investments projects of the factory.

How you’ll make an impact
Implement the global business unit and product group manufacturing strategy
Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units
Ensure that the factory is properly organized with clear roles and responsibilities
Ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization
Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness
Drive quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking
Drive transformation and continuous improvement with a positive mindset.
Deliver operational/project targets (e.g. ROTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS)

Your background
Higher Education in mechanical or electrical engineering
Executive MBA and financial background is beneficial
Proven track record in a senior management role of manufacturing unit
Great leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills
International working experience and intercultural competence
Continuous improvement mindset
Fluency in English and Swedish is required, both written and spoken
