About SSIF
Stockholm Studenters Idrottsförening (SSIF) is a dynamic and inclusive sports association located in Frescatihallen near Stockholm University. Our mission is to make sports accessible and enjoyable for students and all other adults. With a wide variety of sports, grouptraining, events and tournaments, SSIF is a hub for health, community and connections.
Job description
We are currently looking for a creative, organized and outgoing Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will combine marketing and communication work with reception duties and event coordination. You will also represent SSIF at universities and events, presenting our activities to new audiences and helping grow our community. You will collaborate closely with the central administration, working together with a Sports Coordinator and the Head of operations, who you also report to.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and executing SSIF’s marketing campaigns and communication strategies
Creating and publishing content for social media, newsletters and the website
Representing SSIF at student fairs and university presentations speaking in front of groups and engaging new potential members
Working in our reception: greeting visitors, answering emails and phone calls, assisting with bookings and general inquiries
Organizing and coordinating events for our members (e.g. welcome days, tournaments and social gatherings)
Monitoring marketing performance and suggesting improvements
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in English and Swedish
Outgoing personality and confident in speaking and presenting in front of groups
Background in marketing, communication, media or similar. We also encourage students in marketing to apply.
Experience with customer service, event planning or reception work is an advantage
Comfortable with tools like Canva, WordPress and major social media platforms
Organized, proactive and able to manage several tasks independently
Passionate about sports, health and building inclusive communities
