Inventory Planner

ValueOne is looking for an analytical Inventory Planner with knowledge of S&OP processes and inventory management for a consulting assignment to a global manufacturing company in Gästrikland. The assignment is to be filled shortly and runs for six-twelve months.

The Role

As an inventory planner, you are expected to oversee the commercial impact of inventory activities. You will work on controlling finished goods and ensuring efficient transportation. The work is carried out in collaboration with our global Supply Chain Development team, sales organization, and other relevant stakeholders. In the team, you act as a sounding board and collaborator.

Main tasks:

Work with inventory, maintain stock levels and manage replenishment.
Handle regional purchasing, delivery issues and sourcing alternatives.
Optimize inventory, perform inventory analysis, oversee order management, and manage slow-moving items and returns.
Manage regional logistics, establish new contracts and consignment systems.
Drive development activities within the region for new ways of working with systems, processes, and documentation.

Experience and Competencies

Knowledge of S&OP processes and inventory management. Proficiency in Russian and English, both spoken and written (Swedish is not required). Analytical skills with proficiency in data handling. Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is meritorious. Also, it is meritorious if you have experience working in a global manufacturing organization. A university degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is desirable, or equivalent education combined with relevant work experience. Experience with SAP S4 Hana is advantageous, or other similar ERP systems (MS Dynamics, Infor, IFS, Oracle).

A communicative and service-oriented personality with excellent problem-solving skills.
